Also hell is a place on earth, for example when feel relly depressed or angry.
The Buddha said that you are not punished for your anger, you are punished by your anger.
If this makes sense then if you ever become angry in the future it is only your fault not the person abusing you.
To think that life dosen't have a serious purpose at the end puts things in perspective and you will understand that every day counts, because every day has its own miracles and teachings.
When you are dead you are dead so don't waste any single day on meaningless tasks.
Only you can decide if a task is meaningful or meaningless and you are your own judge.
