The solution to stress

There is a well known simile about the problem of stress that I want to share with you. Much pleasure! How heavy is the cup? If you hold a glass of water for 15 minutes your arm will start to ache and you become a very stupid and foolish person. What is the solution then?` Is it to keep holding the glass of water and push yourself harder? No, actually to put it down and take a break. Take this when you are working and things start to seem anoying, this is your mind begging for some kindness and rest, then you have to learn how to relax and rest for a while. You don't have to do anything during this period of relaxation except give some kindness to the areas in your body who have aiches and pains. This also works against anxiety as anxiety is much like stress, pumping adrenalin in your body, if you are kind to the anxiety and tries to make peace with it it will get less and less.¨ The problem with anxiety is that we say "Get out! You don't belong!", but that kind of attitude just increases your anxiety, so therefore the solution is to learn how to relax and be kind towards your anxiety, then it will get less and less until it vanishes completely. This is the way one should cope with stress in ones life ie. to learn how to put things down and relax for a while, then your mental energy will start to flow again.
